Goodbye Part 1

Saying goodbye is never easy. It is especially hard to leave all of you who have loved and supported us throughout our lives. Thank you for this precious time together before we leave for our journey. Your thoughts, prayers, letters, and thoughtfulness have meant the world to us.

Thank you, dear family, for the laughter, fun, and tears this weekend. I hope we can all send letters and pictures to each other in order to stay connected with what is happening. I love all of you with all my heart.

Thank you for these small tokens of prayer and faith. They mean so much to us and will give us strength in times of need. It is such a wonderful way to be reminded of all the extraordinary people who are praying for us back home. 

Maybe someday the men will equal the women. Maybe.
